Welcome to Ocean House on beautiful Peaks Island, Maine, just a 15 minute ferry ride from Portland, Maine. Expansive views of Casco Bay and the soothing sounds of the ocean await you in this 3-bedroom, 2-bath oceanview house on the Backshore of the island. Come and experience relaxing island life and walk across the street to picturesque Whaleback rock, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to pop ‘Downfront’ to the island shops and restaurants, or a quick ferry to Portland.

We purchased Ocean House, formerly known as “Backshore Paradise,” in the fall of 2016. It was a long time dream of ours to own a cottage on Peaks Island and we were delighted to take on the task of bringing this older house, subjected to some harsh storms on the Backshore of Peaks, back to life.
